My name is Bas van Zutphen and I am a game programmer from the Netherlands. I am studying game programming at the NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. Currently I am living in Stockholm where I am doing my first of two Internships at Avalanche Studios. I specialize in low level engine programming and cross-platform abstractions.
I have been programming in C++ for more than 4 years and I have experience with DirectX11, OpenGL, Android and GNM(X) on the PlayStation 4. I have been eager to learn how different platforms and the technology behind them work throughout my life and want to continue with this trend. During my studies I have also worked in teams, creating games in Unity, Unreal and Phyre Engine.
